Father Gary Kaiser

Fr. Gary Kaiser was born and raised on a family farm in Vincennes. His parents are George and Rose Mary Kaiser. He has two older sisters Diana Graman and Jen Staley both of Columbus.

St. John the Baptist Catholic Church is Fr. Gary’s home parish. He is a graduate of the Vincennes Catholic Schools. Fr. Gary also graduated from the University of Southern Indiana with a Bachelors Degree in Communication. Before entering Seminary, Fr. Gary worked for the Chamber of Commerce in Vincennes, the Toys R Us Corporation, his family’s farm and Oxford Group Financial advisors.

While working at Oxford and living in Carmel, Fr. Gary became Involved with two young adult groups, the Frassati Society and CYAN. This along with support of family, friends and a spiritual director helped him to discern entering seminary.

He graduated from Saint Meinrad School of Theology in Indiana with a Master’s Degree in Divinity. Fr. Gary was ordained a priest on June 3rd of 2006. He is serving as the associate pastor for Sts. Peter and Paul in Haubstadt, Holy Cross in Fort Branch and St. Bernard in Snake Run, IN. Fr. Gary is also the chaplain for Source and Summit (formerly Youth 2000) in the Diocese of Evansville.
