Father Alex Zenthoefer
Fr. Alex Zenthoefer is a native of Evansville, Indiana. Sacred Heart in Evansville is his home parish and he graduated from Mater Dei High School in 1997. He attended St. John Vianney College Seminary on the campus of the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Catholic Studies. After graduating in 2001, he attended Saint Meinrad School of Theology in Southern Indiana. He received a Master’s in Catholic Life and Thought and a Master’s of Divinity. He is currently working on a Doctorate of Ministry Degree in preaching through Aquinas Institute of Theology.
Fr. Alex was ordained in 2005 and was assigned as Associate Pastor of St. Theresa and St. Joseph in the city of Evansville. In September of 2007 he was assigned as Associate Pastor of Holy Rosary Parish and now also serves as chaplain of Mater Dei and Memorial High Schools in Evansville. He is the chaplain for the Lay Ecclesial Movement Communion and Liberation and works with the Office of Vocations for the Diocese of Evansville.
